AIROS 6P Sequential Compression Device

The FDA-cleared AIROS® 6 Sequential Compression Device delivers compression therapy to help patients manage lymphatic and venous disorders. The device provides effective intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) therapy for treatment of the lower and upper extremities. The AIROS 6 provides gradient sequential compression that increases blood flow and encourages extracellular fluid clearance. The device provides cycles of compressed air at certain adjustable pressures and then inflates and deflates garments to move fluid.

AIROS 6P Garments

These compression garments were designed so that patients themselves—even elderly ones—can put on the garments and remove them without the help of a family member or caregiver. This ease of use increases patient compliance and drives positive outcomes. Our Arm and Arm Plus models can be used with the AIROS 6/6P or AIROS 8/8P devices. Patients utilizing the AIROS 6P or AIROS 8P device can utilize the Arm and Arm Plus garments with the peristaltic mode if the patient’s doctor or lymphedema therapist believes this wave-like pressure inflation would be better than traditional gradient sequential compression therapy. Reliable, Easy-to-Use Device Ideal for the Medicare Area

Compression therapy technology has been around for decades. The system includes a pneumatic compression device that connects to compression garments worn on the body via air tubes. The device delivers air to the chambers in the garments. The air pressure moves lymphatic fluid and increases blood flow to relieve pain and swelling and help promote mobility.

The peristaltic mode provides a wave-like feeling to the patient, as the pressure is not held in all chambers throughout a cycle of treatment. Some lymphedema therapists prefer this type of therapy for patients with upper extremity swelling.

These compression garments were designed with patient comfort, ease of use, and clinical effectiveness in mind. From durable material to a wide variety of sizes, our garments were carefully engineered to support patients with various needs. Click here to view selections.

AIROS 8 Sequential Compression Device

The FDA-cleared AIROS® 8 Sequential Compression Device is an advanced compression therapy device utilized for the treatment and management of lymphedema and venous insufficiencies. The device provides effective intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) therapy for both the upper and lower extremities. The AIROS 8 features two main therapy modes—Gradient Mode and Pressure Mode—that provide gradient sequential compression. The device provides cycles of compressed air at certain adjustable pressures to increase blood flow and encourage extracellular fluid clearance. When utilizing the pressure mode, the pressure in each chamber can be individually adjusted to accommodate different therapy needs. Quality. We are committed to providing the best medical supplies to our customers.

Universal Electric

The AIROS 8P Model features a 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz electrical rating, which allows the device to be used anywhere in the world.

Peristaltic Mode

The peristaltic mode provides a wave-like feeling to the patient, as the pressure is not held in all chambers throughout a cycle of treatment. Some lymphedema therapists prefer this type of therapy for patients with upper extremity swelling.

Chamber Durability

The user can set the starting pressure in Chamber 1 near the hand. Pressure decreases at a fixed 4% gradient distally, to proximally. Chambers 1 through 3 first inflate to their target pressures sequentially and hold. Then Chamber 1 deflates, relieving pressure near the hand and wrist, and Chamber 4 inflates to its target pressure and holds.
